Michael Jackson's bodyguards reveal superstar's financial problems before his death

A NEARLY-PENNILESS Michael Jackson reportedly took out all his financial frustrations on those who were hired to protect him, the New York Post reported on Monday.
A nearly-penniless Michael Jackson reportedly took out all his financial frustrations on those who were hired to protect him, the New York Post reported on Monday.
The King of Pop's former bodyguards told ABC News that the late singer was plagued by financial woes over the last few years of his life, which led to emotional fits.
"We were asked to leave hotels because the credit card on file was denied," bodyguard Bill Whitfield told Good Morning America in an interview that will air on Tuesday.
"The bill wasn't paid," added former bodyguard Mike Garcia.
"We smile about it, but it's really more painful and hurtful," said Whitfield.
The bodyguards said that Jackson may have appeared soft-spoken in public, but would fly into fits of rage in private.
"He got so frustrated he threw my cell phone out the window, through the window and broke the glass," recalled Whitfield.
"And he looked at me and said, 'Bill, you're going to need a new phone.'"
The bodyguards recounted how they were also responsible for protecting Jackson's three kids - Prince, Paris and Blanket - from seeing images of their father on magazine covers.
"I'll be ahead of him, because I know he's coming this way, and I'm looking at magazine racks that may have something about him on them and I'll turn it around," said Whitfield.
"Sometimes he's seen them, and you would actually see him take it and turn them around so the kids didn't see them."
Jackson, 50, died last June 25 in his Los Angeles home after taking a lethal combination of anesthetics and sedatives.
Dr Conrad Murray, his personal physician, was charged last month with manslaughter in the singer's death after administering the cocktail of drugs.
Murray, who was with Jackon when he died, has told cops he administered the powerful anesthetic propofol to the singer that fateful morning.
Jackson had a level of propofol in his system equivalent to what would be used in "major surgery," according to the scathing autopsy report, which was made public last month.

March 06, 2010, (Sawf News) - Michael Jackson's former nutritionist, Cherilyn Lee, say Michael's kids are "doing great."
Cherilyn, who still "communicates" with the Jackson's, is unfazed by the stun gun story.
"All I can say is that boys will be boys," she told E! News at Friday's MMPA Oscar Week Student Filmmakers Luncheon.
"Boys play. That type of play, we just have to watch people.
"Boys are going to do whatever they can. They are teenagers."
Asked as to how Michael's kids are doing, Cherilyn said:
"For any child losing a parent is very difficult, but they have a strong family and they have their cousins. They're actually doing great."
Asked what Michael's kids are like, she said:
"The kids are wonderful. They're very intelligent, they're very alert, they speak more than one language.
"They're well disciplined children. That was something Michael really wanted.
"They're very loving, well adjusted kids."
"They're very creative children. They have that from their father," she said. "Whatever they do is going to be very special."
Asked if thought Katherine Jackson was the best guardian for the kids, Cherilyn said:

Michael Jackson's Encino home was visited by the police again with a burglary call. This is the second time this week the police have visited Michael Jackson's home.
This time according to TMZ the police were called by someone outside the home and as a burglary. The call turned out to be a false alarm.
Earlier this week police and child welfare were called out to the Jackson family home when reports that a stun gun were being used on Blanket, the son of Michael Jackson which also proved false.
It turns out the Jaafar had ordered a stun gun online, and was trying it out when Michael Jackson's mother confiscated the stun gun, but not before child welfare got involved.
Both instances were false alarms, but these poor children, rich though they are, have no private life whatsoever.

New Photo: Debbie Rowe Visits Michael Jackson's Final Resting Place

Debbie Rowe, the mother of Michael Jackson's two older children, visited the late King of Pop's final resting place Thursday.
Wearing dark shades and visibly emotional, Rowe paid a visit to Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, CA. Rowe was granted access to the cemetery, but did not gain access to the mausoleum because of security restrictions that only allow people who are on an approved list to enter.
A source close to Rowe tells "The Insider" Rowe still loves Jackson and is continuing to grieve his loss months after his sudden June 25 death. The source tells "The Insider" that despite a judge's ruling that granted her visitation rights to see "Prince" Michael and Paris Jackson, Rowe has not been allowed to visit with the children.
Rowe did not attend Jackson's public memorial service last summer or his subsequent private burial service.

Date of Birth: 29 August 1958, Gary, Indiana, USA
Date of Death:25 June 2009, Los Angeles, California, USA
Mini Biography:American superstar Michael Jackson was born in Gary, Indiana, on August 29, 1958, and entertained audiences nearly his entire life. His father, Joe Jackson, had been a guitarist but was forced to give up his musical ambitions following his marriage to Katherine (Scruse). Together they prodded their growing family's musical interests at home. By the early 1960s, the older boys Jackie, Tito and Jermaine had begun performing around the city; by 1964, Michael and Marlon had joined in.
A musical prodigy, Michael's singing and dancing talents were amazingly mature, and he soon became the dominant voice and focus of The Jackson 5. An opening act for such soul groups as the O-Jays and James Brown, it was Gladys Knight (not Diana Ross) who officially brought the group to Berry Gordy's attention, and by 1969, the boys were producing back-to-back chart-busting hits as Motown artists ("I Want You Back," "ABC," "Never Can Say Goodbye," "Got to Be There," etc.). As a product of the 1970s, the boys emerged as one of the most accomplished black pop/soul vocal groups in music history, successfully evolving from a group like The Temptations to a disco phenomenon.
Solo success for Michael was inevitable, and by the 1980s, he had become infinitely more popular than his brotherly group. Record sales consistently orbited, culminating in the biggest-selling album of all time, "Thriller" in 1982. A TV natural, he ventured rather uneasily into films, such as playing the Scarecrow in The Wiz (1978), but had much better luck with elaborate music videos.
In the 1990s, the downside as an 1980s pop phenomenon began to rear itself. Michael grew terribly child-like and introverted by his peerless celebrity. A rather timorous, androgynous figure to begin with, his physical appearance began to change drastically, and his behavior grew alarmingly bizarre, making him a consistent target for scandal-making, despite his numerous charitable acts. Two brief marriages -- one to Elvis Presley's daughter Lisa Marie Presley -- were forged and two children produced by his second wife during that time, but the purposes behind them appeared image-oriented. Despite it all, Michael Jackson's passion and artistry as a singer, dancer, writer and businessman are unparalleled, and it is these prodigious talents that will ultimately prevail over the extremely negative aspects of his seriously troubled adult life.
For it all to end on June 25, 2009, with his sudden death at age 50 of a drug-induced cardiac arrest, just as he was coming out of a four-year reclusive period and rehearsing for a sold-out London concert "comeback" in July, seems uncommonly cruel and tragic. Millions upon millions of dedicated fans will remember where they were "the day Michael died".

Jackson's ex wins judgement in case
Tag
Michael Jackson's ex-wife, Debbie Rowe, has been granted a 27,000 dollar judgement against a woman who she said gave false information about her to reporters after the star's death.
The amount, granted by a judge in LA, includes 10,000 dollars in damages for Rowe's emotional distress that she said she suffered after the interview aired on the TV show Extra.
Rowe sued Rebecca White of Key West, Florida in July - the suit said the woman falsely claimed in interviews that Rowe was only interested in getting money from the singer's family and wasn't interested in gaining custody of her two children with the King of Pop.
White never answered the complaint.
A Los Angeles Superior Court judge entered a default judgement against her this week.

Michael Jackson changed my life says Abhishek Nailwal
Tag
Late pop sensation Michael Jackson, through his grooves, moves and singing, managed to get the fanatical admiration of many budding artists. One such artist is our Bollywood playback singer, Abhishek Naiwal, who has received massive acclaim because of his rendition of the song 'Gali Gali Mein' from the recently released Rann. He admits that his life was transformed after he began to hear Michael Jackson.
It is pretty evident that the 'pop music' star Michael Jackson has contributed majorly to the success of Abhishek Naiwal. On the professional front, he is busy singing for Ishan Trivedi’s next film, ‘Sale upto 50 percent’, in which he has four songs.
“I don’t think there is any specific singer who inspires me. However, I must say that ever since I started listening to Michael Jackson, my life has changed a lot. Thereafter, I listened to many of his creations and those of other western singers that taught me a lot,” reveals Abhishek.
