Michael Jackson's FBI Files Reveal Death Threats FBI also helped run interviews in singer's child-molestation investigation.

During more than a decade of monitoring, the Federal Bureau of Investigation helped set up interviews over child-molestation allegations and investigated a possible terror attack and an alleged assassination plot against Michael Jackson, according to newly released FBI files.

Despite monitoring Jackson for more than a decade, the files don't contain any major revelations about the late pop singer's private life and the bureau never uncovered any solid evidence against him in connection with two different molestation allegations, according to The Associated Press.

The documents made public on Tuesday date from 1992 to 2005, and though the FBI said they number about 600 pages, only 333 were released due to privacy rules and a desire to protect investigative techniques.

Though they don't contain many bombshells, they do reveal that the 1993 sentencing of Frank Paul Jones — a man allegedly obsessed with Michael's sister, Janet Jackson — was tied to death threats he made against Michael, then-president George H.W. Bush and late mob boss John Gotti, whom he claimed was his father. In a letter obtained by the FBI, dated July 6, 1992, Jones wrote, "I decided that because nobody is taking me serious, and I can't handle my state of mind, that I am going to Washington, D.C. to threaten to kill the President of the United States, George Bush," adding, "Michael (Jackson) I will personally attempt to kill, if he doesn't pay me my money."

Among the documents is one written by the L.A. City Attorney's office, which claimed that on June 22, 1992, the letter's author "arrives in Calif." and "threatens to kill." The FBI interviewed an unidentified "victim," whose name is redacted but the AP said was presumably Michael Jackson, who told authorities that he was aware of the threats and took them seriously. Jones was arrested June 22 and held on $15,000 bail for investigation of trespassing in the driveway of the Jackson family compound in Encino, California, and sentenced in 1993 to two years in prison for "mailing a threatening communication."

The federal government's investigative agency continued its probe into Jackson in 1993, after the Los Angeles Police Department asked the FBI if it was interested in working on a possible case against Jackson for transporting a minor across state lines for immoral purposes. The request came after an LAPD investigator traveled to Manila, Philippines, to speak to two former Jackson employees who claimed they saw the singer fondle young boys; the FBI did not join the investigation because the U.S. Attorney's Office declined to get involved, though an FBI agent accompanied California officials to the first interview.

The Santa Maria Police Department asked the FBI to get involved again after Jackson was arrested for child molestation in 2004, believing that the ensuing court case would be a "soft target" for terrorists because of the worldwide attention the trial would attract. The FBI ultimately concluded that there were not imminent threats, though it noted the presence in court of the Nation of Islam's Fruits of Islam security force and an unnamed member of the New Black Panther Party. Jackson, who used Nation of Islam bodyguards during the trial, was acquitted in the case.

The FBI reviewed case notes from local authorities in the molestation case and examined 16 computers taken from Jackson's home, but investigators didn't appear to find anything of note, prompting one of Jackson's lead defense attorneys, Thomas Mesereau, to say that the FBI documents provide further proof that Jackson did nothing wrong.

"He was not a criminal and he was not a pedophile," Mesereau told the AP. "The fact that so many agencies investigated him and couldn't find anything proves he was completely innocent."

In September 1993, an FBI agent in London also reportedly told colleagues in Los Angeles about British press reports concerning a man claiming that Jackson had made a sexually suggestive phone call to him in 1979 when he was 13 and the singer was 20; no further action was taken in that case. And in October 1995, the U.S. Customs Service reportedly asked the FBI to look at a videotape labeled "Michael Jackson's Neverland Favorites An All Boy Anthology" as part of a child-pornography investigation, though the tape was of such poor quality that investigators couldn't tell what was on it.

Janet's fan threatened to kill MJ

London, (ANI): An obsessed Jenets fan had threatened to kill her brother Michael and thousands of his fans if he was not given half the pop king’s fortune, according to FBI files. Frank Paul Jones had sent a number of disturbing letters. In one he wrote: "Half of Michael's estate is mine... if he doesn''t pay I'm going after him."

He also said: "I'll commit mass murder at a Michael Jackson concert if necessary, in an attempt to murder Michael, then you will have to deal with my situation in the public eye." But when there was no response Jones instead warned he would targetPresident George Bush Senior, reports the Sun. He wrote: "I decided that because nobody is taking me serious that I am going to Washington to threaten to kill the President of the United States."
Jones was arrested outside the White House and later jailed. Other FBI files revealed that how the ‘Thriller’ hitmaker was interrogated when he was accused of making obscene phone call to a British schoolboy. The boy, who was 13 years old at the time, said the star told him he was fondling himself.

Michael Jackson Had Secret Cash Stash

LOS ANGELES (July 27, 2009)--Michael Jackson's former financial advisor says he was holding Jackson's secret stash of money.

Dr. Tohme Tohme said he gave $5.5 million to the executors of Jackson's estate.

He said Jackson wanted to use the money for his dream home in Las Vegas and he was in negotiations for the home when Jackson died.

Tohme says Jackson told him not to tell anyone about the money, but after Jackson died, he turned the money over to the estate.

He also turned over many of Jackson's personal items.

Tohme said the items were supposed to be part of an auction, but Jackson called off the sale and Tohme put the items in storage.

Michael Jackson's personal doc gave deadly shot'

Washington (IANS): Michael Jackson's personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, administered the final deadly shot of the anaesthetic propofol that would end the pop star's life June 25, media reports here said.

Murray, who was at the Jackson California rental home when he died, administered the powerful drug that authorities believe killed the singer, CNN said citing a source close to the Jackson family and with knowledge of the investigation.

The coroner's office in Los Angeles is investigating the cause of Jackson's death. It has been waiting on toxicology lab results, but a final autopsy report is expected as soon as this week, a coroner's spokesman has said.

The cause of death is also the focus of an investigation by police, the state attorney general's office and the US Drug Enforcement Administration.

Dr. Conrad Murray has been identified in court papers as the subject of a manslaughter investigation, ABC News said. Edward Chernoff, an attorney for Murray, declined to comment on the report.

Murray, who was hired to monitor the entertainer for his planned "This Is It" tour, was called to Jackson's house on June 24 and was the person who found him unconscious, not breathing in bed the next day. Murray's lawyers have maintained for weeks that the doctor was simply a witness in Jackson's death and had nothing to do with it.

Murray has been widely criticised by medical professionals for waiting more than 30 minutes to call 911 and for performing CPR on a bed instead of a hard surface, but he has continually denied giving Jackson any drug that could have killed him.

He has been secluded at his Las Vegas home and reportedly goes out with a security detail due to death threats.

In the aftermath of his death, Jackson's addiction to a variety of drugs was revealed, including propofol (trade name Diprivan), the analgesic Demerol and the painkiller Oxycontin. Track marks found on his arms support the theory that he was addicted to propofol.

Medical experts cited by the ABC News Medical Unit said that the amount of medications reportedly found in Jackson's rented home was "jaw-dropping" and "amazing."

"That list is enough to put down a swarm of zombies," said Richard Bradley, chief of the Division of EMS and Disaster Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.

Michael Jackson begged for drug

Michael Jackson begged his doctor for the drug Propofol even though he knew it could kill him.

Dr. Dwayne James claims he warned the 'Thriller' singer about the dangers of the substance just months before he died, but he continued to ask for it to help him sleep.

James said: "Michael asked, 'Can you get it for me? I need it so bad, the stuff knocks me out, it's great.'

"He didn't seem to care that I was telling him it was dangerous. He said, 'But I've had it before, I slept so well, like a baby.'

"I immediately told him that Propofol was dangerous and he should never take it at home, it could kill him. He didn't seem to care that I was telling him it was dangerous."

The singer died of a suspected cardiac arrest last month aged 50 after allegedly ingesting a cocktail of prescription drugs including dangerous painkiller Demerol and anaesthetic Propofol - also called Diprivan.

James refused the 'King of Pop' when he phoned him to ask for Propofol - an intravenously administered drug, reserved for hospital use with trained medical professionals.

James added to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Michael said he desperately wanted to get hold of the drug.

"There was no convincing him. What struck me was that he didn't seem to have any fear about taking Propofol, despite everything I was saying."

The doctor sent a nurse, Cherilyn Lee, to care for the singer.

Lee claims Jackson was still begging her to help him acquire Propofol just days before his death on June 25.

She said: "Jackson said, 'Find me an anaesthesiologist. I don't care how much money they want. Find me an anaesthesiologist to be with me here overnight and give me this IV.'

"I said, 'This is not a safe medicine, please don't take it. I would not give it to anyone.' "

The main focus of the police investigation into Jackson's death is his use of Propofol and Demerol and who was administering it.

His personal doctors, Conrad Murray - who was with the singer when he died and has been revealed to be the subject of a manslaughter investigation - and Arnold Klein have both been spoken to by Los Angeles police and both have had their offices raided to seize medical records this week.
